service to customers, restaurants and food providers in major Metro areas.
Responsibilities:
- Pick
up food orders from restaurants and promptly deliver
the orders to customers.
Ideal
Qualifications:
- The
ideal candidate will be prompt, professional, energetic
and courteous.
- Clean
Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Proper
car insurance.
- Effective
communication skills.
- Delivery
experience preferred.

Delivery Supervisor:

Location: Arlington - Grand Prairie, Texas
Do you know your way around the Arlington/Grand Prairie area? Do you enjoy working in a service business and satisfying clients with a great can-do attitude? Do you have a track record of managing and motivating a small team to achieve success? Are you a leader who assumes the responsibility of making sure you and your team is prepared? If the answer to all the above is a resounding YES, we have been looking for you! Waiter.com, founded in 1995 and the leading corporate restaurant delivery and catering service, is looking for an Assistant Manager to run the delivery operations in our new Arlington, Texas office.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Energetic, reliable & self-motivated
- Must have working vehicle in good condition and clean MVR
- 2+ years supervisory experience
- Detail oriented and good at multi-tasking
- Knowledge of the Arlington/Grand Prairie Area
- Demonstrated leadership position and proven track record
- Experience in managing small groups
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good Keyboard Skills (Type 30 words/minute or better)
- Computer skills including Word, Excel, Web and Email
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Some college preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver restaurant meals to our local corporate clients when necessary
- Take ownership and responsibility of each delivery shift and in managing our local delivery drivers
- Route and assign deliveries for optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Compose daily and/or weekly written reports to Operations Manager
- Assist Operations Manager with employee reviews and disciplinary actions
- Bi-Monthly oral report to Operations Manager
- Assist in local marketing and restaurant membership to build sales with some account management responsibilities
Starting Wage $30K/year plus incentives, Health Benefits, 401K, Stock Options, Located in North Arlington. Approximately 50 hours per week.
