Location: Mountain View, CA
Waiter.com, the Bay Area's fastest growing meal delivery and catering service is looking for a part-time accountant / controller.
We are looking for an experienced financial professional on a part-time (one-day per week) basis. Candidates must be dependable, detail-oriented and able to operate independently. Relevant academic training and business experience are a must.
Primary functions include:
- Generating financial and operational reports for management
- Processing end of month close and journal entries
- Entering bi-weekly payroll data to financial software
- Generating monthly sales tax returns
- Performing checks and balances
- Reconciling bank statements
Qualifications:
- Strong general ledger experience
- Ability to produce month-end and year-end reports
- Experience preparing schedules & reports
- Strong analytical skills
- Able to work independently, self-starter attributes
- Must have intermediate to advanced EXCEL skills
- Must have experience using QuickBooks
- Accounting or Finance degree required
The job requires one-day per week at our offices in Mountain View, CA
