Don't worry! Billy Berk's has vegetarian options as well, such as the Creamy Polenta and Mushrooms Medley.

If you are looking for a different type of barbeque such as Korean BBQ Short Ribs or BBQ Chicken, then perhaps Korea House is the answer for you. If you are having a group of people for dinner then check out the Korean Dinner options that serve anywhere from 2 to 8 people.

If you are a fan of Indian food then check out Peacock Indian Restaurant. Peacock has a wide selection of vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries. They also have four different dessert choices including Carrot Halwa.

Today, Tuesday, December 8th, is National Chocolate Brownie Day! To help satisfy your chocolate brownie craving, Waiter.com has some simple solutions for you.

Waiter.com delivers food to customers from a variety of restaurants. When he is not working as a Customer Service Representative at Waiter.com, Wes Hofmann works on delivering laughs. Wes Hofmann has been performing stand-up comedy for five years now and has appeared at places like the San Jose Improv, Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale, and Tommy T's in Pleasanton. Waiter.com recently caught up with Wes Hofmann for an exclusive interview about Waiter.com and comedy.

Waiter.com: How did you get into stand-up comedy?

Wes Hofmann: I was involved in my high school's drama department and I was also a bit of a class clown.

Waiter.com: Really? You seem like a shy person.

WH: I wasn't a loud class clown in high school that disrupted class or anything. I often made my jokes only loud enough for one or two other people in class to hear. I was the class clown that wrote a story for Spanish Class about how my teacher got eaten by a dinosaur.

Waiter.com: Did you get in trouble for that?

WH: I was pretty much asking for it, wasn't I? She loved it though! I guess I conjugated well.
Anyway, I think being seen as a shy person is an advantage for me as people are generally surprised the first time they see me perform on stage. When I finished high school, my yearbook was filled with comments about how funny I was and how people couldn't wait to see me on SNL. I went on to Community College at DeAnza in Cupertino and the acting class also had students interested in comedy so myself with other students performed some comedy routines that were aired on the school's TV channel. Eventually, I ended up taking an 8 week course with the San Francisco Comedy College and through that class I connected with many comedians around the Bay Area and I haven't stopped since.

Waiter.com: What kind of material do you perform?

WH: My material is all across the board. I do jokes about observations, the workplace, current events, politics, sports... humor can be found in so many places.

Waiter.com: Do you get any material from working at Waiter.com?

WH: Of course, but there aren't many of them in my routine right now. I think it might have to do with actually liking my job. I have a lot about my previous job of working at a bookstore though.

Waiter.com: Who are some of your favorite comedians?

WH: My favorite comedian to watch right now is Daniel Tosh. I also enjoy the comedy from greats such as Bill Cosby and Steve Martin.

Waiter.com: If a customer calls in after reading this interview and says "tell me a joke," what would you say in response?

WH: Most comedians don't like being put on the spot like that and I am no different. A fellow comedian once said it best saying, "You wouldn't go up to a doctor on his day off and ask them to perform a surgery. "

Waiter.com: Good point. So what are some of your favorite dishes and/or restaurants to order from that are partnered with Waiter.com?

WH: I like the Baked Rigatoni from The Pasta Market, the Souper Lunch from the San Francisco Soup Company, and the Burrito Wrapp from World Wrapps. I am glad there is a wide variety of choices as right now I am trying to watch what I eat.

WH: My mom and sister actually decided to have our own "Biggest Loser" competition in our family to see who can lose the most weight.

WH: It is tough for me because I am really competitive, but I also hate losing.

Waiter.com: Haha, Good one! Do you have any shows coming up?

WH: I will be in Oakland for a couple shows on November 5th and 6th then to San Francisco on November 10th, and to Monterey on November 11th.

Hello, waiter.com blog readers! You are probably thinking, "there's a typo in the title of this blog." Actually, there is not a typo, as today is National Moldy Cheese Day! You might be thinking, "well, that just stinks." But moldy cheese is part of the cheese that gives a particular cheese its flavor. As you probably know, the blue stuff in Bleu Cheese is mold.

Want to have some moldy cheese for yourself on this day? Here are a few restaurants you can order from and have delivered to you by Waiter.com...

Togo's has a Cobb Salad that you can order that has bleu cheese crumbles on it
and also comes with bleu cheese dressing. People talk about going green... how about going bleu?

Johnny Rockets offers a salad as well with a bleu cheese dressing and you
can also order Rocket Wings (that's chicken wings) and you can
get some bleu cheese dipping sauce for your wings.

Jack's Prime Burgers & Shakes offers a Cobb Salad and a Mini Wedge Salad
which both include blue cheese. In addition to the salads, they also offer the Maytag Blue Ribbon Burger which is made with Blue Cheese.

Wait a minute, what is the correct spelling of this cheese? Bleu? Blue? Well, there are different spellings. The French use "Bleu" while in America it is typically just "Blue." Spelling aside, you are getting the same thing.

People sometimes claim to be "A Mold Above the Rest," but now you can have Mold from the Rest(aurant).

Today, September 16th, is National Guacamole Day! Are you in the mood to celebrate this avocado based dip?

Today is National Potato Day! At Waiter.com, there are plenty of restaurants that offer up some delicious potatoes in different ways. You can find baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and let's not forget french fries. You can even find potatos! (if you are Dan Quayle). The following restaurants are a few of our favorites.

BJ's Restaurant has Potato Skins, Mashed Potatoes, and a variety of Giant Stuffed Potatoes. Their potatoes are a personal favorite of many Waiter.com employees. You can get their "Classic" Baked Potato with butter, sour cream, and green onions, or a Grilled Chicken Potato with chicken, steamed broccoli, and topped with alfredo sauce and jack and cheddar cheese. It is time to start gearing up for football season as players have started reporting to their NFL training camps.
The Dallas Cowboys are about ready to begin their first season at their new stadium. According to sources, if you plan on attending a Dallas Cowboys game this year, it will be $60 to buy a 20-inch pizza. That is the price without toppings which would make it cost more. And you thought Terrell Owens was outrageous.

So Dallas Cowboys fans, we suggest you plan on watching the game on television and order pizza through Waiter.com for delivery instead.

With all the Independence Day festivities over the weekend, you may have missed out on some events.

On Sunday, July 5th, in London, the Men's Wimbledon Championship Tennis Game took place. Roger Federer squared off against Andy Roddick in what turned out to be a record setting game.

Both players made great serves throughout the game. They were each other's equal for four full sets and nearly the entire 30-game fifth set. Federer finally edged ahead, breaking Roddick's serve for the only time in the 77th and last game to close out a 5-7, 7-6 (6), 7-6 (5), 3-6, 16-14 victory Sunday.

The epic match — the fifth set alone lasted more than 1 1/2 hours — gave Federer his sixth Wimbledon title, and a total of 15 Grand Slam event titles in total. It is one more than tennis great Pete Sampras. In total, the match lasted 4 hours and 16 minutes.

In addition to tennis balls, what else do these guys like to serve up?

Andy Roddick has said he enjoys a nice ham and cheese sandwich. Andy says, "Call me All-American, but I love Ham and Cheese sandwiches. And not just any old ham and cheese sandwich... You may have heard the recent news story about the lawsuit against the breakfast cereal, Cap'n Crunch. A woman recently filed a lawsuit against the cereal company claiming that she had been eating the cereal for four years and was under the impression that Crunch Berries were real fruit.

No, we are not making this up.

Here at Waiter.com, we feel that we should clear up some confusion anyone might have regarding any of our restaurants.

Although it is called, Blue Mango, the San Jose restaurant does not actually serve any blue mangoes.

San Mateo's Clay Oven restaurant does not have any food items that contain clay.

Just because you order from South San Francisco's Goldilocks restaurant, does not mean a little girl will eat your food and then complain about the temperature of each dish. Unless, of course, this sounds like you.

Ordering from a Taxi's Hamburgers location does not mean your food will be made or delivered in an actual taxi.

The Simms family opened the first Mimi's Cafe in Anaheim, California. Son, Tom Simms, brought an innovative spirit in introducing a new type of restaurant concept that combined the quality, ambiance and personal service of a dinner house with the convenience and value of a coffee shop. Father Arthur J. Simms brought his lifetime of experience in restaurants along with inspiration from his memorable time in Europe during WWII. And now, just for fun, a little history about the Twix candy bar (pictured):

Looking at the logo, you might think, "they must have killer salads!" You are correct!

The opposite of dangerous, The Salad Bowl offers various salads like the Herb Chicken Salad and the Mexplosion Salad.

Group Ordering Made Simple

Have a group order you need to put together but don't have time to individually ask each of your co-workers what to order?

The solution is simple with a shared cart! At the top of each menu, you will notice it says,

"(Working on a group order? Share your shopping cart with a friend by email.)."

By Clicking on that link (on the menu, not in this blog), you can then e-mail as many people as you want with the menu you are ordering from and they can add the items they would like to order to the cart. You can give them a cut-off time to place their order by and when that time comes, you can check out the entire order. It is as simple as that!

Remember those times you would go up to Bill and ask him what he wanted to eat for lunch? Bill would twiddle his thumbs for a bit as you stood there waiting with a notepad and pen. Then finally Bill would say he wanted a cheeseburger with no onions, no ketchup, no mustard, extra cheese, no special sauce, no lettuce, add guacamole, and cooked medium well....
Well, you no longer have to wait for him to give you his mile-long request. (sorry Bill, but you sure are picky!) With the shared cart, you simply e-mail the menu and Bill can enter his requests all on his own!

Jasmine Fine Thai Cuisine

A new Thai Restaurant has been added to the Waiter.com network today. Jasmine Fine Thai Cuisine has a great selection of catering dishes as well as entrees. Vegetarian? No problem! Jasmine Fine Thai Cuisine has a nice selection of vegetarian options as well.

I really like the restaurant's logo.

Let's compare the drawing of the flower to a photo of an actual Jasmine Flower.

I'd say the artist of the logo did a pretty good job!

An employee, Mike Nazaro, who works in Palo Alto, CA, ordered a hamburger from one of our restaurant partners. Mike asked for all the fixings of lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup, but ended up with something unexpected as well, a human thumb!

"I was concerned at first," said Mike, "I felt bad for whoever lost their thumb. I realized that I paid $8 for this burger though, so I wasn't about to let it go to waste, so I ate it. It was delicious!"

REDEFINING FINGER FOOD?

"I ordered the burger well-done," Mike said. "The thumb was rather rare and a bit bloody, but I didn't mind as it added some extra flavor to the the burger."

The restaurant (which asked not to be named) manager had mixed feelings about the situation.
"People don't understand how often you use your thumb until you lose it," he said. "What happened to Joe in our kitchen today was extremely unfortunate. However, we are thrilled that the customer was still completely satisfied."

"I give it a thumbs up!", Mike said jokingly, "No, really."

Waiter.com has added another new restaurant to their network, in the form of a question. Pasta? has locations in Palo Alto and Mountain View now online.

Would you believe that Pasta? has Pasta? They also have a lot of catering options for larger groups. To prevent confusion when
asking to order Pasta?, you can refer to it as "Pasta Q."

Otherwise here is how a phone call might go when trying to place an order over the phone with a Waiter.com Customer Service Rep.... Cust: Customer, CS: CS Rep
